the pool, spa etc is 4 star plus although the pool could be a bit warmer

a lovely clean, modern and very stylish hotel. bar food and breakfast were excellent.

the wifi was a bit slow..maybe due to a lot of people staying

the room was so spacious, plenty of comfy beds even the kids had a bed each

if there was anything i would say maybe the pool and gym was open earlier or little longer in the holidays to let everyone use it as normal

only thing was we requested a bottle of prosecco to our room and it was a hour until i called room service to see where it was and the girl said do you want it now, wasn't happy with that

did ask the young girl at the bar early in the day she stated that the cleaner was just going up now

one staff on when we came to check in, they were serving in the bar as well, very busy as open mic had started same time as checking

very central in chester. the bar has a great band on a saturday night.

they treated us to drinks at the bar for our anniversary and we had a lovely card in the room

to be able to book into our room until 2pm, we were in and unpacked by 10:45am (and at the bar by 11am)

one of us could not simply pop downstairs on the evening to get us a drink at the bar after the kids were in bed

no coffee or tea in the room no shampoo or soap in the shower room service offered but no menu

the staff were all great, lovely bar area and the secret garden is fab

room service was totally hassle free & easy

milk & water was in the fridge, cookies in a jar

totally recommend the three adults luxury en-suite rooms

staff, loved the style of the hotel, lots of great work stations all over the hotel and its dog/pet friendly

enjoyed a game of pool & liked it being dog friendly

spacious lots of bits for kids games and books for adults to read and chill pool and table football quite space for adults to

the single beds were very comfortable and the large screen tv is easy to operate and wifi connection to the hotel system is very good

the bed was the comfiest i've ever slept in. both myself & the 2 kids were out like lights.

wifi connection was not brilliant and the door locks were temperamental (upgrade is already planned (-)wifi wasnt great (+) only fault is wifi drops off all the time, otherwise perfect in every day (-)wifi in room was a bit hit and miss (+) my room was in a nice quiet area, great light, comfortable and with great wifi (-) low connection wifi (-) we had to ask for the wifi password, we had to ask for bathrobes and the scrambled eggs at breakfast had to be redone - (-)the wifi reception in certain parts of the hotel was intermittent . (-) wifi none existent on premises (-)wifi boots user off every 5 minutes
