bar excellent staff

welcoming owner who went out of her way to help us with an early check in due to attending a concert and not getting back till after midnight

central location, nice and quiet. lots to do for kids

pub singer and local kids were very noisy

weren't aware that there was no kitchen functioning at the hotel when we booked

gym could have a bit more equipment

was able to check in 40 minutes early and late check out was a bonus

room service was yum

wish when room service came they changed the bedding as it was dirty

maybe a kids menu would be a welcome addition

in didn't get told wifi, breakfast etc just got handed the key's

kids had a terrible night's sleep due to being too hot

the bar is warm and not at all stuffy and the food is great

i especially enjoyed the bar terrace, it s a great spot to have a drink while taking the

refusal to hold bag until 3pm check in despite early check-in in having being arranged in advance i was refused

we were an hour early for check in but as the room was ready we could check in but had to pay £10 for early check

that the hotel was run a bit like easyjet; to store our bags for a short time cost extra, as did early check in

the facilities was good and hotel had a bar on the ground floor

the bar closes in the evening for 15mins just before 11pm to allow for a shift change and to refloat

fickle i know but no toast or fruit on the breakfast room service menu

breakfast was lovely- service a little slow but think that was due to lack of staff

beautifully restored with nice modern touches. great gym.

especially as the gym didn t open until 8 which meant we would lose some of the time slot in the spa

amazing bar and restaurant area tastefully furnished creating a warming ambient environment in which to

the breakfast was brilliant lots of choice (continental)tea/coffee/available all day in lounge beds

in office not too clear and had to wait at the bar until the staff member was free

we arrived at 08:30 and got an early check in which was great as we were tired from travelling

liked the unusual reception arrangement with no fixed desk, the bar and restaurant the staff were all very friendly, attentive and helpful and we would definatly

the continental breakfast is lovely

with the kids bed up there wasn’t that much space but it was sufficient

stayed in a suite, excellent value for money, late check out with option to extend made for a relaxed final day

great wifi according to the kids and we were nicely located for the albert dock and the city centre

and you can have a late check out

comfort with large window overlooking the docks area good choice in the restaurant for room service & buffet

small but had everything you need to work out away form home, the beds were comfortable and the bar is nice

weren t told about the gym etc until we were checking out and heard the receptionist telling a couple who were checking in

the gym was great as it properly set up. the staff were exceptional

really good late check out available too of 12pm

building nice stained glass window on the staircase, the staff were exceptionally helpful, room service was fine, the rooms have very high ceilings which gives the room a nice feel, the

huge tv in room kept the kids happy when needed

very friendly check in and bar staff. a wonderful hotel and we enjoyed our stay.

they kept my luggage two days ahead of my stay n allowed late check out without fuss

only criticism, was the hotel bar wasn't manned late

at the front, very clean,only negative was a little road noise but wasnt too bad, didn't have breakfast due to other establishments being close by

staff, corridors clean, room clean but only small, plenty big enough for us though didn’t have breakfast went round corner to

bar and restaurant provide good service, and staff were extremely helpful and friendly

cleaning staff woke me twice despite paying for late check out

we had a twin room with the kids,which led us to go from one room to another

that the pool was no longer in use

kids running wild to 10 o’clock at night screaming up and down the corridor out side are room

we paid for late checkout at 1pm and room service came knocking at our door at 10.30

staff were very friendly, when we arrived the member of staff doing the laundry helped us in and helped us with the lift

the kitchen was well equipped, good shower, big and comfortable bed, excellent location, short distance

were quality, bar was open late to have a few beers on the way in from a night out

breakfast good. bed rooms good clean ihg membership allowed us early check in and late check out

left waiting to order drinks at the bar as only one staff member serving and then he had to abandon this to go and check in guests
