fantastic (the car park at the spa looked busy, but it felt quiet inside) - loved the indoor pool, natural pool

the facilities, food, spa and grounds all

wifi was not working

also cost of breakfast on our last day was around 60 for two and we had very little

the kitchen table and high stools were not user friendly - esp for older folk

placed in room that was within laundry and housekeeping area

00 because of laundry/lorry problems

outside our room was cluttered with laundry wagons

lift was used for both guests & laundry

out was at 11am, fantastic, thought i d have a lie in before i drove to devon, turns out the laundry cart

one was a double room and also room was supposed to be cleaned but someones dirty laundry was left in one of

i did ask if i need to pay for the laundry, as i'm sure that is outsourced

toilet facilities (both) out of order no toilets to use, when walking to room dirty laundry and empty bottles

really, however laundry carts and bags and dirty plates and glasses left in the corridor overnight is just a

when we entered our room, it smelled strongly of dampness like old laundry that had been left wet for too

even after requesting to room service they will leave sparkling water instead of still.

gym is situated outside the hotel somewhere in town although it is advertised as having a gym

staff from reception, at breakfast, room service, engineer (problem with safe) were all friendly and helpful

unsure what, could have been plumbing, maintenance or laundry machines

a bit noisy in room 149 near laundry?

the price of room service laundry was too high

view from windows was of fire escape and corrugated roof, which i assume was above the kitchen or laundry as it

arrival we couldn t access the car park - road blocked by a large group of young kids celebrating their prom

noise from the laundry building(i think) below our room at night

on staircase near room and dirty laundry lying in the corridor instead of being bagged or put into a trolley

one last thing is the guest wifi is not password protected (for work calls that has been slightly concerning)

we was upgraded, had a wonderful experience bar was brilliant specially the irish coffees and the diavola pizza

lovely desk to work off, free internet wifi connection, and even a great massage chair

the bar is open all night , nice size rooms if you book this hotel i suggest you reserve a car parking

parking was good, and ability to book an ev charger was really useful

, we booked the parking with ev charging

didn't stock any beers in the bar that we would drink

i isaid no need she had to go to the laundry to get clean towels out of the tumble dryer on the monday evening

housekeeping is spotty, laundry service not as advertised

t appreciate used laundry left in sacks along the corridor sadly breakfast was appalling, the eggs were like

the measures to protect the envoironment: no need to laundry every day, waste paper in seperate bag

great staff especially the bar staff on saturday awsome

room was situated in an off shoot of main corridor next to laundry room not visually appealing access

on arrival - dirty laundry and cloths were on the floor by the lift on the first floor

really nice hotel with the lively the fat badger downstairs for a drink in a large bar area

staff the location we wouldn't stay anywhere else amazing hotel fat badger bar is amazing

rooms needed updating no aircon too hot no phone no room service badly decorated we paid extra for a bigger room

we loved the restaurant (the pickled sprout) where our evening meal was beautiful and the sky bar where breakfast

rooms, very comfortable beds, able to get room service from the restaurant which was great

friendly staff good location little disappointed with wifi good breakfast helpful staff

the sky bar breakfast room was an amazing area on floor five with windows all round the room providing

the laundry was efficient but the hotel provided two different price lists without explanation

came out of room to find the cleaner had strewn all her full, heavy laundry bags across the bedroom doorway

our room appeared to be above the kitchen or laundry so could hear machinery operating below..

also, very pet friendly, no problem having our well behaved dog too

i could not get into wifi without going through facebook which i didi not want to do.

the pool and spa was an added bonus after a day's cycling

leisure facilities were fab too, we used the swimming pool and hot tub which my young son loved

we found out the pet surcharge was 50% of the room price upon leaving the hotel

breakfast was very good and tasty, we took room service on the first day , food arrived bang on the ordered

fortunately the staff were very accommodating with putting my chilled stuff in the kitchen

lack of information in the room re safety eg information what to do in an emergency wifi

feel its un fair that you pay more for dogs to stay and they put you in a filty room, when i know kids can be

excellent choices for breakfast ideal location for town and bus stop that busses run every ten minutes

full english breakfast was marvellous - the preserves were particularly flavoursome, as was the succulent black

nb room service not usually available but provided to us in this occasion

was exceptional staff were charming and extremely helpful, even with our early check in

knaresborough for around 9 (around 15 minute drive) but if you want to drive there is plenty of parking

my only small complaint that the wifi could be better...

however we were unable to order room service snacks after 5 pm and the local pub didn t serve bar snacks or
