it lacked both speed and wifi range in my room (room 12) and streaming from netflix/nowtv was

was lovely, lots of choice, staff members friendly, room and hotel clean, plenty of parking spaces and close to

free parking is something we always look for especially now the cost of fuel is so high

twin room was a bit small for 2 adults would have paid for larger twin if it had been

the temperature in the room was unbearable and we were next to and underneath maintenance, laundry etc

or lunch or dinner, when we went to look for our room we at the back amongst all the cleaning and laundry

the room looked shabby we was woken up by the laundry van right outside the window and large metal cages being

friendly and fit bar women ;)

its an adults pool as the shallow end would be suitable for much older kids

laundry bedding was left at the end of each corridor in sight of public, even blocking a fire exit

the gym had equipment that was very new, a good mix of weight and cardio

no nighttime menu as kitchen was being cleaned

late check out at 12 noon so great to catch a later flight

to noisy, i could listen the tv show on every room, and the drunk kids are something to review

our flight was redirected to east midlands airport, and we landed at 1am with 2 small kids

close to airport and very helpful staff. nice having a bar area too after a late flight

flight was before breakfast was served so im gutted i missed that because my meal in the bar was absolutely

it was value priced, no frills despite the faded glamour of the ornate fireplace

he went out of his way to help us with parking due to us having 3 vehicles with trailers

oh, and the meals in the bar were big tasty portions and the beer was a good pint

i was quite ill- recently out of hospital; i wasn't fit enough for breakfast the first morning but managed to

the staff at the reception area ,cleaners and at the bar were always very friendly to us especially amit whose

i ordered room service and the eggs tasted like plastic and was given hardly any toast for 2 people so had to

room backed onto the laundry room which was noisy

there was no laundry on the premises and washing had to be sent out; as there was no listing for 'slacks' on

cashless and had to pay via card for laundry

room has double bed for kids as well which is really handy

the breakfast booking system was a bit difficult to sort out

if i am staying for more than 2 days, i'll love to do my laundry

the only simple improvement i d love in any/all hotels is adding a coin operated laundry as families often

the breakfast selection on the other hand had only one fault there was no marmalade on show and when we

place so stay food was lovely large selection of food for breakfast and i had asked for rose petals on my bed

swimming pool was too cold! especially for kids.

mistakenly took my personal towel from the room but that was ok since i found it from their laundry bag but then

laundry was not clean, it was kept folded on a shelf, it was smelly, the one left in the washroom,

the price and location i would stay again and give the bed another chance but maybe once the uni kids have

sometimes they have events on, this makes the hotel very busy and people use the bar who aren t staying in

faced this experience at previous day of my check out, laundry was not returned on time

hotel wifi was not the best and the rooms could do with a refresh as they have an element of faded

i couldn't access the wifi at all, when i pressed the button to connect

wifi a bit patchy. paying extra for car parking felt strange.

wifi requires you to submit to e mail promotions to use it, i dont want that so no wifi

alas, when we arrived, there were 2 other cars and a laundry lorry that blocked most of the driveway - not a

only thing spoiling it is early checkout. it’s difficult with kids to be out by 11.

it s not even a damage deposit it s in case you want to spend anything at the bar or room

also there was no play zone like a pool or snooker table

during housekeeping times the hallway was crammed with dirty laundry, room service trays, hoover sprawled across

parking is a bit difficult, especially if there is a wedding or a function when you stay

were in the annex and the room service didn't deliver to the annex, so i had to wait for the food and deliver

they also do offer a laundry service where they did make sure i was ready for a wedding and looking my best

room was directly over the wheatsheaf bar and saturday night is karaoke night

cobs on the bar would sit perfectly in this lovely local pub

we asked at the bar and she wasn’t sure so text someone to ask but never got back to us

noise as our room was just above rhe bar of the inn

only minor complaint is that the shower was tricky to use and not very powerful, and the wifi connection wasn

wifi kept disconnecting could be an upgrade for a stronger signal required

wifi not the best, keeps getting disconnected, maybe because of rooms distance from the router

stayed for two nights we had drinks and food in the bar on friday then saturday morning we had breakfast which

room service was good as the restaurant was closed that evening

a great place for a 1 night stop over. and they have a room service on the go there. all good

breakfast was lovely, staff was lovely and room service a bonus especially seeing mobility is an issue just

ease of location, ample parking, helpful and friendly service from all the staff we encountered.
