the trees around the hotel are old and varied-gorgeous, and the fact that it is pet friendly was essential for

the room needs to add laundry bags, sanitary bags, shower caps and bottled water

we had an hour at the spa which was perfect after a hike through the valley of desolation in the rain

the spa facilities are in a separate building across the road, it was very nice but it is advisable to

all of the fireplaces and the smell of burning logs

the pool in the spa clean & warm & having to book a slot to swim meant it wasn't overcrowded
