place is a little gem, ev chargers which are super fast, a lovely family local pub feel with exceptional home cooked food-

small dog in our group (he stayed at the royal lodge) and breakfast was moved and service in the bar area to suit him

the bar closed at 10 pm so we had to encroach on a line dancing class so we could use their bar

we relaxed in the pleasant roomy garden and bar for a few hours before going out and were made welcome

there was a hedge maze, crazy golf and butterfly zoo 3 mins drive away and boat trips nearby

brought evening meal and drinks at the bar and paid for it at the bar but all evening the staff kept coming up to us to pay for our meal

the hotel is very clean, it has a bar and a restaurant (we didnt use) it has a beautiful garden which we had a couple of drinks in

locals who attend the golf club bar made a few strange comments to me but the bar staff were really great about talking

staff were fab, they gave us a late check out, no charge, gave easy information and were very helpful

had to pay for an early check in although we mentioned our arrival times in advance

rooms were of higher standard than expected with kitchen facilities…love the location

the tipple bar was very welcoming and the staff are very freindly felt very welcome

prices in the bar were on the expensive side.
