the breakfast was outstanding

staff were so friendly and helpful, selection of games available behind the bar which were available to play, this was good

from megan the beautiful border collie who knew exactly where the treats were on the bar and wasn't afraid to ask everybody to get her one

pet friendly hotel the rooms the bar they even have treats for your

room was right above the bar so was quite noisy till about 11pm

very friendly and welcoming , bar lively with friendly locals , early evening and evenings , good atmosphere and good friendly

dinner was nice and bar was convivial. nice stay for work.

everything was fine including the building, the room and the bar and restaurant

the young lady behind the bar was very lovely

the locals in the bar were also friendly

the wellington was a gem in wales. fresh lobby & bar to relax in. great breakfast.

i received a warm welcome from the staff and the bar appeared to be an enticing and comfortable place to unwind with a log fire as the focal point

the bar in the evening was closed and refused to serve us at 9:30pm!!!!

not a massive problem as the bar the next room over

also the breakfast was really yummy, plus of course the views

hotel,staff,rooms,bar area, breakfast, facilities were excellent

we booked an extra night as was ideal for walking into town and parking was easy

limit on free wifi

staff freindly and competent. rooms great, food fantastic. slept like a log. parking for my van.

he keeps or so well and the bar staff are allways happy to take of the

room very comfortable and quiet. good quality breakfast. excellent ev charging facilities.

we ate saturday evening 25th january 2025 the steaks were exceptionally good meals gois choice of bar drinks at reasonable prices morning breakfast was worth having thoroughly enjoyed our stay

food in the bar was fantastic and great quality food

location with plenty of parking and 3 x ev charging points

guests were a bit noisy, kids especially letting bedroom doors slam instead of closing them & shouting

eccentric, great location, cosy bar area, helpful and friendly staff and lovely breakfast

greeted with a smiley welcome they even let our little dog be a massive part of our stay as their bar area is dog friendly if you love quirky and fun with lovely views this is the place to

dinner was delicious, bar was friendly, all in all a great start to our holiday

facilities weren't open due to covid restrictions but room service was great

car parking a bit of a lottery, but appreciate do to location little can be done to prove this

advice i'd give is we were initially going to have the bar menu rather than al carte, however we only got the set menu and al carte menu

the food was absolutely awesome both nights and breakfast was great too

nothing was too much trouble and we were very grateful that they accommodated our early breakfast before we went out for the day to oldfield forge

breakfast was lovely nice choice you don’t always want cooked breakfast

ample parking, lovely garden area, cosy bar / restaurant and beautiful rooms
