hotel is well equipped with a gym

stayed at the stones hotel because it was literally across the road from the highpost golf club of which i had a national competition for a week

experience, was opening the curtains in the morning when i was expecting a bit of the view of the golf course to find rather un- attractive buildings, especially as i had asked for an upgraded room

there is nothing around the hotel other than a golf course and gas station

rooms were spacious and comfortable, bar and restaurant are delightful and staff are amazing

convenient car parking and great location for surrounding sights

but i have to say just a small thing, the first day i had to make the sofa-beds for the kids myself

garden view room with very large comfy bed as well as great sofa bed for the kids

very friendly locals in the bar who made me feel very welcome with well stocked and reasonably priced drinks available at the

shower out of order on the top floor. couldn't connect to wifi on the top floor.

saw the description and knew that it was a pub and therefore a chance of noise in the bar ect but everything was fine

the lounge/living room was a nice spot for relaxing in the evenings and the gym a nice add on

no real daily cleaning done. the machines in the gym don't work or are in very poor shape.

is not as negative as it looks, just my opinion as we travel a lot, stunning young lady behind bar was alone most of the time, with the few people arriving she was busy, could of done with a

very cool place, lovely bar lounge and helpful youngster
