the highlight was the hydro pool with stunning views of the beachud83dude0d our room was in the new wing of the hotel and was

the noise from the laundry was consistent and very annoying, the towel rail wall brackets were loose and one of the

wifi kept dropping out

a workman was working on door when i turned up and was back when i was leaving if i never had kids with me i would not have stayed i would have went 2 another place or came home u had 2 sit on

hotel, clean and well looked after, breakfast was really nice as well, staff there and in the bar were really friendly

accommodating with early check in special circumstances and excellent breakfast included in the price

a bit uncomfortable in bar as bar maid was afraid of dogs and made this obvious, we just went to a dog friendly place in

easy to find and off road parking the the bar very cosy and comfortable

was our 4th time staying at the riverside as part of an annual golfing trip to the area

2 mains, 3 kids mains and 2 kids ice creams took a touch over 2 hours

spacious room, lovely food for breakfast and in the restaurant

the spa was absolutely amazing and the massage was so relaxing

couldn't door more for me, the room was spotless and internet, tv's and kitchen facilities were all top notch

the kitchen space had everything you needed for the short break away, 2 ring hob, full size fridge &

the small kitchen was modern and well equipped

the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and the meal at scott's bar in the evening was delicious

all of the little touches added up - welcome pack, slippers, golf umbrella, earplugs - the dogs were spoiled too with their own blanket and hand-made treats

lots of golf memorabilia if you’re j to that sort of thing

hotel is close to the golf , shops and restaurants which is great

a big issue for most but breakfast was slow to serve, it’s tricky for us with kids to keep them occupied, we ended up going outside to the garden which was lovely

the breakfast used to be a served cooked breakfast but now it is a buffet and in our opinion not as

our phone wasn t working in our room and we had no welcome information or room service information to hand

allowed an early check in so as i could get ready in the room for the wedding were attending near by

particular lorna in the family and pet friendly lounge bar was very child friendly she asked my 5 year old daughter (with parental consent forst) if she

liked the timed pre-ordered breakfast as this cut down on waiting times, something we found difficult in other locations

was delighted with the tunnocks teacake, due to having to catch a ferry we never got time for the breakfast but if it was anything to go with the cleanliness, comfort ect of the rooms i am sure it

the night porter assisted with getting some soft drinks from the bar after hours when the vending machine would not work

work here and there but i loved my stay relaxing the singer was a extra bonus at night prices at bar cheap also loads seating areas will definitely be back and highly recommend doesn't get the

they did pay a little more to normal, due to the golf at royal troon (however thankfully not as price gauging as all the other local

laundry all over the floors for hours throughout the day

accomodation was super comfortable, bar staff were great, food was fine.

maybe as it was the open golf weekend at troon the prices were a lot higher than any other

supplied water (and a sausage for breakfast) for the dog

really enjoyed relaxing in the lounge bar with a drink, and that sea view again

we are booking again but bringing kids for full

have been good if there was evening entertainment in the bar for the valentines weekend but there does seem to be a lot of great upcoming

she even washed, dried, and folded our laundry for less than it would have cost use to do it ourselves

very peaceful, excellent location right next to the beach and the the kids park and great restaurants nearby too

allowed early check in and slightly later check out - so useful considering the weather
