historic building, thoughtfuly decorated rooms, good food, roaring fireplaces, warm and cosy, great location,

we really enjoyed the breakfast, and while the property does not have a parking area on-site, they partner with

location - small kids enjoyed the very large garden and the suroundings

sole reason i booked with this hotel was because it said it was pet friendly

dirty laundry and very old with holes

soap was provided upon request and the bath sheets were delayed coming back from the laundry and arrived later

requested hand towels but none available as laundry comes tomorrow

owner was so sweet offering the kids chocolates and advising on places to visit

i had studied the hotel docs left in the room regarding room service as knew

the hotel is a public house so i expected some noise from the bar on saturday night

sat at the bar by myself and didn t feel uncomfortable at all

the room was very clean and had a very strong wifi signal also tea and coffee and biscuits bottled water and

the landing was constantly covered with laundry bags during our stay

room was above the bar so it was a bit noisy until about 11pm and there was traffic noise in the morning

bedrooms have obviously been upgraded but the approach to bedroom floor from behind bar area didn't bode well

comfy bed , good location , i arrived early and no problem with early check in

who were helpful, sadly the hotel manager just passed the issue off as a problem for the laundry company

there was a self service laundry for guests with washers and dryers on the 3rd floor, but following the

parking is free and on site

they moved us to a room with a bath and discounted our stay as an apology with drinks from the bar on the house
