very smart and modern, with some lovely relaxing communal areas near the bar and restaurant, the spa facilities

the carpets were filthy, the place smelled, the laundry was dirty and the plumbing was impossible it was

wifi signal poor, but improved once the coach load of visitors departed !

didn t seem to know if they had a laundry service or not

friday morning we were rudely awakened at 6am by bins being emptied and laundry deliveries just outside the

and we enjoyed a fantastic pre and post dinner drink in the comfort of the incredible lounge/ bar area

say that on the menu for the dinner, the chef stated he forages and uses vegetables from their kitchen garden

our room was above or near the kitchen, so it did get noisy early in the morning and late at night after dinner

only other issue was the noise from below, not sure if it was the kitchen, which started a bit early

we got woken up at 7am from the cleaning ladies opening the laundry cupboard next to our room and shouting

we asked for late check out but this wasn't passed onto the housekeeping team so they were trying to get into

continental breakfast was spot on and you could upgrade for very small fee to full breakfast, early check in

the age of our kids we probably needed to book two rooms, a little small for teenagers as

reception was full of laundry when we arrived no buzz or positive vibe about the place at all

foam pillows swapping as i can't have feather went to reception young lady went straight to laundry cupboard

great breakfast and also pet friendly too so we will definitely be back again in future

particular thanks to the guy on reception who spent 20 minutes sorting out a wifi compatibility issue with my

staff; attractive decor; ambiance was professional but not too chainy ; ev charger available, easy to use

fabulous breakfast. bar meals superb too, if a little expensive ?

for guests - its been an exceptionally poor summer - putting on a nice cosy fire in the beautiful fireplaces

a detail, but our room (20) had the kitchen extractor fan right outside our window, which made a deep, low-level
