spa treatment

the surrounding is magnificent, the breakfast was simple but enough and the staff are extremely friendly

nice buffet breakfast was included

we would have liked to have tried the spa but just didn't have time

the hotel has a cosy restaurant with a good look as well as a nice bar area

restaurant could have been open, bar was closed when we got back

it and it felt like they were the owners and had an investment in the local community (the bar was full and wonderfully noisy with locals who looked like working farmers at the end of a days

the restaurant and bar area were very dusty and there is a small terrace at the back of the hotel where we sat and

plenty of parking and this hotels restaurant was a big hit with the locals

however, the climax comes in the morning, because the breakfast is mind blowing

the french billiards was fun and the bar area is nice and green, cleverly away from the sawmill

afternoon and evening at no time were hotel guests ignored or forgotten at their evening meal or breakfast

however, once you walk through the front gates and into the beer garden for the bar, it's like a little sanctuary from what's outside

hotel was a great antidote because we were able to sit in the very-lively outside restaurant and bar for a few hours

reading materials, different styled chairs to several quaint children s plays areas that small kids would enjoy, this old hotel feels like a generational family run property

property seems more focused on being a bar than a hotel and isn't very covid-safe

there is a children’s playground on the site which is great to keep the kids entertained for a while

to find out adjoining rooms were not adjoining, just next to each other as we have two young kids

the hotel doesn't have any dedicated area for chilling/staying with kids

honestly i was in disbelief when we stayed here, there is a lovely bar / cafe on the ground floor of the hotel which was central to the town which was a vibrant

get a table in the bar on the saturday night, but there was a local festival and all were

reception and most (apart from one waitress) restaurant and bar staff super helpful and attentive, peaceful surroundings but close to the town of san sebastian

beautiful location, peaceful gardens & pool, lovely restaurant & terrace & only a 10 minute taxi ride into town

we asked at the bar for some extra still water for the room and got charged €5 for two small bottles

obliging and helpful but service inconsistent and it really lacked any form of room service/bar service
