playground for kids

the kids bed was comfy and the cot was a genuine wooden crib rather than the standard travel cot

closed but roberto and his staff were excellent and rustled us up a lovely spread and kept the bar open and joined us for a drink

the hotel doesn't have any dedicated area for chilling/staying with kids

there is a children’s playground on the site which is great to keep the kids entertained for a while

loved the place, set somewhat in the hills in a delightful town, with a well stocked bar downstairs and an extremely hospitable owner who cooked dinner for €11

spa centre with two saunas and swimming pool are working every day untill 21

the spa of the hotel was worth the trip to durango.

we enjoyed eating and drinking on the terrace, swimming in the pool

rooms are above a very popular bar and restaurant and have hard floors, so noise from below and between floors can be a problem

lively bar and restaurant - apparently it's popular with the locals who drops by to eat and drink

however, once you walk through the front gates and into the beer garden for the bar, it's like a little sanctuary from what's outside

hotel was a great antidote because we were able to sit in the very-lively outside restaurant and bar for a few hours

the bar and restaurant were pleasant and busy

the bar steward was very obliging and recommended a new gin to try and it was very nice

had trouble finding somewhere nice to eat and ended up in a bar having a burger

although it's linked to a par 3 golf course it wasn't obvious, but i did have a stroll round it one evening and it looked fairly

attention of the housekeeping staff, the check-in was fast and easy, the bar staff was pretty accomodating and polite

they did play different kinds of music in the bar and outside in the terrace and a bit too loud.

the pool and restaurant weren't open because of covid so that can't be counted against them but the

afternoon and evening at no time were hotel guests ignored or forgotten at their evening meal or breakfast
