the hotel itself is gorgeous and very modern, and i noticed local people like to hang out at the bar to work even if they're not residents at the hotel

chris behind the bar was super friendly and helpful and very funny

wifi requires registration with name and email, which is an unnecessary intrusion into my privacy

the washers and dryers could definitely be better maintained, although they provide ample laundry detergent and softener

every single member of staff acknowledged us at breakfast with a smile and a good morning the room service was fast and excellent quality

parking directly in front of the hotel was very convenient - important when travelling with kids

room service was excellent and breakfast was really nice

we also had access to the gym and pool which was a bonus

i requested for late check out and although he had called deep cleaners still he agreed

the atmosphere throughout the hotel and bar is steeped in an authentic english charm that we both absolutely loved

nothing really. oh the sofa in front of the big tv in the bar rather than the two chairs.

wifi connection in the room was poor, i assume the router was just too far

when i arrived and friendly female receptionist when i checked out , nice cold drink from the bar , good location , lovely area

without us even asking- changed to a bigger family room, extended our parking, even gave the kids a pack of

the selection of food was amazing and the kids loved the muffins and

staff were helpful when i asked for early check in, all be it was an extra 15 for the 3 hours before regular check in time

and one more thing about this hotel incredible breakfast

a laundry room is available, but that feels like it s creating extra effort for the traveller

i think the only thing i would recommend they improve is the wifi

warm welcome, easy parking, very clean and comfortable room, delicious room service meal

the location outside of the city centre but so close to train station, free easy parking

in reception after a long journey to be greeted by noisy kids high on a party, getting fractious with their stressed parents

also the breakfast was very good and tasty

the dao was spotlessly clean, as was all the utensils in the kitchen

the gym is a treadmill. no terrace open or used although there. a bit of road noise.

two out of the 3 treadmills are not serviceable and the gym is a bit small.

wifi was sporadic at best - otherwise everything else was great.

convenient, the room was very clean decent size and comfortable double bed and quiet had strong wifi connection throughout my stay had all necessary amenities you would need i would stay here

however, they let us continued as we have young kids with us

(+)was my partners birthday during our stay and they left her some chocolate and a free drink at the bar which helped make the stay extra special (+)location, bar had nice atmosphere and able to order bar food as not able to get table in restaurant (+)about this hotel is fantastic, great rooms and restaurant / bar (+)contemporary deco, lively bar and social spaces downstairs (+) loved the decor, the bar and the view from the window

and accommodated all my requests -i was extremely happy to be able to take advantage of the late check out as i had some work to do in the day

cooked breakfast was freezing cold and no staff about to make a comment to and no one came to clear cereal
