we had breakfast every morning by the pool and hearing the birds sing

villa had a basic kitchen unit in it (sink on an island, a grill, and a refrigerator) but there was no cutlery

my kids enjoyed the pool and the excellent wifi

they also make beautiful costa rican meals- breakfast and lunch is on the patio and you can hear the cacophony

i had some laundry done and it came back a bit damp which was annoying as coat a lot of money.

the hotel has a 2-3 hour laundry service with very reasonable prices, which is of great value as any in-room,

swimming in the river which runs through the hotel, and has a really high water slide - great for kids
