the wifi did not work

we asked for something off the main menu and something from the room service menu, to be served to the table

the rooms were comfortable & clean, the staff were polite & friendly & there was ample parking.

stayed there 3 times in last 3 months great place great staff great breakfast

there was no book in the room with the wifi code and menus, though this could be because of covid and keeping

here a few times before so i know the hotel and use it because of its excellent location, good bar and small

big shout out to jade on the bar who kept me topped up and laughing throughout the evening

hanging off of the wall, my room overlooked the courtyard where the hotel had crates of dirty laundry ready to

the hungrey horse on the saturday night was full of kids running riot although food was good

at the lodge their wasn't any priority seating at pub and not free of charge at play area for kids

the choice was then to eat in a crowded restaurant was screaming kids

definitely a plus was the pub and kids play area.

reception was full of laundry both days and lots of flies at night

there's a pier and museums, kids and adults alike are catered for in the area

i was also impressed with the breakfast and the room service

hotel was pet friendly which was our reason for staying however we didnt feel that we were compromising on

ordered room service once and unfortunately the food quality wasn't the best

however, the experience at breakfast was very poor and disappointing

we were in room 101 which was next to the laundry room and we had loud machinery noises and

quality breakfast we found riubbish in the bins in our room dirty laundry in corridors poor maintenance/ room

lots of amenities - the library and laundry room were brilliant bonuses and i liked looking at all the navy

laundry... clothes were still damp out of dryer .. might boost it a bit.

bar was blocked by the locals who didn t move out of the way so we could access the bar - found

there was a function in the bar/restaurant but the staff made sure guests of the hotel had a space in the bar

a great historic bar full of character, lovely dining room with excellent food, good spa, and really nice sized

very cost room, bar and restaurant. the staff were very kind and accommodating for a big group.
