was an amazing building full of character and set in a quiet peaceful location with ample parking

r staff asked numerous other guests if they d had prepayment authorised and none

issue we had was the bar had absolutely no juice at all for kids to have a drink or for mixers had to go to garage which was across the road

i liked the fact that the room they gave me was together so i was able to see my kids

they offered to let us eat in the bar but the kids from the function were running around like giddy kippers, so they realised that wouldn't work

was two thirds of the price of the recommended taxi by hotel and this was after midnight and our kids were so frightened cold and wet, it was totally horrific and the hotel didn’t care

it was a perfect break that myself and my 3 kids needed

first night there was a french kids basketball team staying and they made quite a lot of noise till around 1am so kept us up, the

cleanliness, free wifi, breakfast are very good.

we ate at refuge in the evening, we ordered two small plates, a big plate, two extras and three desserts

after a trip to the ivy and then several bars in the area we decided to try refuge and to be honest we were really shocked for a

great gym too

only minor issue was the room was missing a few items - laundry bag, bottle opener etc so i had to ring reception a few times
