the restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast with a cracking view over the golf

were a perfect setup for a golf junket to the west coast of scotland

long weekend away with friends in the 6 bedroom lodge, complete with kitchen, pool table and outside putting green

found gym and sauna quite hard to find

location for an event at the gailes hotel then golf at glasgow gailes the next day

couch or two, as the dining tables and chairs were quite formal and not as 'relaxed' as the main bar

music noise either from bar area or kitchens, into early hours of morning so sleep was at a minimum, mainly because of party groups

one and only thing was the smell in the restaurant, like cooking smells, wondered if the kitchen had enough ventilation taking smells away, we did find it strong

the restaurant we were positioned near a big family gathering who allowed their kids to run about and couldn’t seem to talk to one another

service was great and the room service meal, balmoral chicken, was terrific and reasonably priced

the girls at the spa were wonderful and the overall service was fantastic from start to finish

at breakfast for continental breakfast a little disappointing - i would have liked a bigger choice of

the night porter assisted with getting some soft drinks from the bar after hours when the vending machine would not work

above the bar and dining room if they have party you can hear the music from down stairs in till early hours
