rooms with 2 armchairs often overlooked in other rooms, great bed cosy bar area, good food, fresh milk for teas and coffees

the bar a restaurant were also first class

lounge areas beautifully appointed, the garden room restaurant and bar exceptional

the bar and restaurant area were beautiful. the open fire was very cosy.

(the bar tender appeared young and inexperienced for the level required, therefore this may not be a

set in large grounds, with a lovely orangery where the restaurant and bar is

room was modern and liked you had an app to order room service (although we did not) (-) sugar and bottle opener in room online ordering room service didn't (+)stay - rooms well thought out and designed, outdoor bath very serene, good shower, good room service (+)lovely place to stay, very modern and clean, felt private and quiet which was great, room service/food was easy to order and tasted great (theres a useful app) (+) we ordered room service which comes from the bowling green inn which was amazing as well (+)2nd visit, food is superb, and we love the room service breakfast (+) room service was a lovely touch and the whole day/night was so relaxing the bed was extra large and (+) and thanking the staff for the room service food and drinks

information about parking, check in/out, restaurant was all really clear

short walk from ashbourne town, parking on site and quiet when the windows and doors are closed

the only thing we didn’t like was the location of room, it was directly off the bar area and, as the staff were serving dinner in the evening and breakfast in the morning, it did

it's a more traditional and smaller hotel so be weary that the room service finishes when the chef finishes and leaves for the night

had room service and the triple cooked chips were spot on

the warm welcome, coffee machine, delicious breakfast, spa bath...loved it all

we also had a spa bath and a mini sauna in our room and just not enough time to try everything out

and the breakfast in the morning is one of the best we've ever had on our travels

waking up to a splendid full english breakfast which had everything to offer, along with toasted tea cakes, simply delicious

room was beautiful and the breakfast was so good my partner is still talking about it 3 weeks later

open fires in the bar with low beams make for a comfy warm experience when having a drink with

location was lovely, the room cosy with heating, the bar locals were friendly, advising things to do

quite tight for working, and the table isn't really suitable, however you can sit and work in the bar next to the fire which was nice

the bar had a good selection of beers and was very reasonably priced

wifi signal in our room (second floor) was patchy, and mobile phone reception in the area was (-)difficulty accessing the wifi initially (+) the tv was bigger than most and the wifi excellent (+)excellent breakfast, and local cider comfortable, good wifi and tv reception excellent shower. (-)wifi was a bit intermittent in pepperpot. but loved it all otherwise. (+) free wifi was great and very easy to connect to (-)wifi signal in the attic rooms but that's simply me being picky (-) note they don't do food all day and wifi is free but not great

we woke up to a great breakfast selection, we opted for the nice hearty porridge, yummy ud83dude0b mixed toast and coffee

the service throughout our stay was excellent, and breakfast was absolutely fabulous

it's a lovely suite and horsley lodge is in a beautiful setting surrounded by the golf course
