what we needed it for (stop over on our way to liverpool with 3 kids) it ticked all the boxes

the library room next door to the bar was lovely and cozy with the fire on and we enjoyed our afternoon and post dinner drinks in

the following night we had room service, which was fab

evening meal and breakfast good quality and presented well and hot

the shower was excellent and wifi trouble free

a sewer outside it, when you opened window ot was the most foul disgusting smell, i had 3 young kids with me and it was not pleasant at all

daughter and her two kids had a room further down the hallway which i didn't visit however after they returned from the

room service was quick and the bar albeit very hot was fast and chilled booze

this was booked for our kids not us but they loved it

i arrived in the evening around 19:00 and staff were polite and friendly, helpful got a late check out sorted

breakfast could have had more choice maybe a choice of eggs rather than just scrambled and possibly

the sausages were a bit burnt at breakfast but other than that there was a good choice.

(there's also a golf course literally just behind it, in case you're looking for an exercise in scottish

we did however enjoy a hearty breakfast (10% discount) at the cafe to the rear, used by golfers

lovely walks close to the hotel that you can take with good views of the city, also close to the golf course

clean hotel, friendly staff and just a 1 minute walk to a golf course and tennis courts

so handy situated in a country park with some beautiful walks and also handy for golfers having a small golf course available

a good gym

our only regret was we would ve liked to stay longer and make use of the swimming pool

like the spa the swimming pool and the golf course,the breakfast was very nice the bar food was

that kids can only swim at certain times disappointing

the spa and swimming area is amazing brekafst was delicious, as was dinner!

the wifi bandwidth was really poor

we wanted food or a drink when we checked in at 2 and both bar and restaurant was closed

comfy bed, nice walk in shower, netflix available, fantastic buffet style breakfast, free wifi, friendly staff, great

when we did get in it was full of kids and noisy, no explanation from staff of where the spa was so we walked straight back out

the wifi is really bad and i had to use my 4g most of the time

wifi was awful - was on the 4th floor and it dropped out a lot so gave up on it

the bed is small and the hotel policy of charging extra for late check out of guest that checked inn at 12:00 midnight is absurd

couldn’t get the full breakfast menu due to co i’d so it’s understandable price for alcohol is expensive price for

the staff were really friendly and helpful and the bar was well stocked and staffed, always a bonus

fantastic having ice machine, microwave any plates, cups, cutlery etc you need is provided and of course free parking

the room was so clean and comfortable bed nice shower the pressure of the shower was good and the breakfast was so much options and good quality and the staff were amazing at the breakfast
