is often the case the pet friendly rooms are usually a little tired and away from the main area of the

couldn t get the ev charger to work and the staff said it was nothing to do with them

traditional hotel but with modern touches such as wifi and new tvs in rooms

the room we had was immaculate and we had a private parking space outside in a small courtyard

hotel in a fantastic location, staff so friendly and welcoming, food either breakfast or evening meal was top

breakfast was excellent we were greeted by dave who fully explained the situation regarding cereal

dog friendly ample parking but busy in season, just can t explain the feeling walking the dog at 10

still retains a lot of original old world features, the main bar was cosy with a roaring fire and local musicians

also, when we asked for the pudding list (after our main course) we were told the kitchen was closed

i felt that the kitchen staff were pushed to the limits hence the lack of little extras

another issue was my laundry that was basically forgotten for a day

needs replacing as does the stairwell , wedding on so got room next to family with young kids very noisy, woken

outside the door was a big bonus and dog friendly and 5 minutes from the city with a wonderful bar and restaurant

room was located near the staff quarters or laundry and on the ground floors so not much privacy

after the challenge, we had food serviced to our room and the next morning we were late for breakfast but nothing

on site parking and a terrace garden to sit out and enjoy the late afternoon sun

a bit more choice of beer in the bar would have been the cherry on the cake !

two bedrooms, one of which had the tv, sofa, kitchen and we also had another area with armchairs

really a problem, but i was amused that the slip i filled out for the laundry service didn t seem to recognize

on day four we discovered the hotel does not have a self-service laundry and there is no public self-laundry

room at the back turned out to be above the hotel s laundry facility which went on all through the night

my light bite at the bar was excellent and the service very good

room service trays were left outside other rooms in the corridor for hours which smelt bad and gave

the bathroom had inadequate laundry supplies and we arrived to find only half a toilet roll

- no shampoo in room, could not adjust room temperature, inconsistent messages from staff about laundry pick-up

also not great when you're trying to relax and lots of kids using jacquizzi and facilities

was 2 singles pushed together , far too expensive but as a parent we needed that break from the kids to have a

slammed closed, hearing people drunk in the middle of the night, the people above us sounded like kids running

we were shattered after a 9 hour drive and kept awake by the school kids and then the cars turning up to collect

there are obviously many events going on but parking spaces in front of the hotel should probably be reserved

room are really well set out and clean also great room service

was no information in the room about the restaurants or other facilities or wether there was any room service

i travelled with my 3yo and is was ideal, deluxe room had plenty of space and the kids menu in the bar was spot
