however i would recommend this anyway if you have kids
we booked the family room for our family of 5 kids ages 1, 11 and 15
it has self catering apartments but doesn't seem to cater for young families with kids.
on the property were comfortable with wi-fi, big tub/shower, comfy beds with room outside for kids to play nearby
at the cottages located on the property and not in the castle grounds- there was limited to no wifi connection

gang of kids hanging around near the lift on the ground floor
kids screaming til 10 pm in reception- no parental or staff intervention
hotel needs up grading .lots of kids hanging around the hall leading to the bedrooms
kids running up and down the hall late at night and people fighting and nothing done about it
stained towels in room outside needs attention replant the old flower boat it would look stunning kids bikes

could not have been any friendlier, huge open landscape garden so is great for kids

with kids it wasn't ideal but for just adults this probably would bother me less
food in bar very very poor, pizza, kids nuggets chips, brownie sticky toffee pudding, very very poor quality
were not helpful at check in & made me wait right up to 3pm for checking in with 2 small kids
warm & comfortable room & cosy bar lounge area .lovely garden area as well!

we got joint rooms which was a new thing for the kids and they loved it
the beds for the 2 kids were very comfy, the boys loved it
we as a family of 5 adults and many kids will definitely all be back to enjoy this wonderful hotel again
stayed there with our kids as a part of the trip to tayto park, which is very close to this hotel

had 4 kids with us the kids were running around but didnt appreciate the comment from staff that said our
staying in a room with two kids we were a little dependent on it and it wouldn't work at all

we arrived to the time we left , the staff were excellent, very welcoming and made time with our kids , one such
no lifts as we re having luggage with us and kids to go into rooms at the first floor..!

2nd night stay there was a wedding on and kids running about up and down corridors throughout the evening/late
had to ring down for towels as only 2 towels were left for 2 adults and 2 kids to share, we also had to ring
breakfast cereals in kids size boxes
the staff r so nice and i had no kids with me but i seen who nice they were to children there and that to me
hotel was warm and welcoming staff was great and so good to the kids

very good to my kids
we stayed for 2 nights as a group of 9 adults and 3 kids (aged between 4 and 5 months)
was fantastic, the food, the service all of it and my 2 kids absolutely loved the pool and playground,it was
waited a long time with kids for the food but when it arrived whoa
staff where very helpful an the facility s where great the kids loved the pool an the brought out a wee cake

the magic tree as my kids called it, is truly magical
we arrived, we found a huge fairy-lit tree outside on the grounds that our kids immediately had an exciting time
in the stables and the guests above us were up all night and made a lot of noise which kept our kids awake
filled with hair wish i took a picture too much noise from the people down with there dog and kids expected a
i would like to mention ger, who made us feel very welcome with our furry kids and even gave them some treats

had a great stay and kids were very happy with there goodie bags
