this is where the sofitel truly shines: - direct walkway to the north terminal - quick shuttle to the south terminal - zero stress getting to early morning flights you can roll out of

poor gym facilities

in all rooms it wasn t signed very well regarding how to get to the hotel from north terminal shuttle

need to go to the south terminal all you need is to walk within the hotel first floor to a free shuttle service that will take you to the south terminal in less than 5 minutes

think the early check in fee of 59 euros is a bit steep

i used the gym, which was great and the evening meal

the location at gatwick was exceptional and the late check out extremely welcome

hotel is in gatwick north so if you are flying early or with kids then definitely book this hotel

the “continental” breakfast of toast and ham kids cereal or strawberry yoghurt... not great.

excellent facilities available and pool plus spa are a bonus

the guest book encouraged us to do our own dishes but the kitchen was off limits so we just left our dishes on the trolley like everyone else

unfortunately we arrived too late to use the pool and garden but it looked lovely

the pool and the people were very accommodating and helpful in a stressful situation

throw away, and we had our breakfast at 4 am before leaving the accommodation, as the guest kitchen is open as self service with all what you need to enjoy a continental breakfast
