clean, easy to access, bar area and restaurant had a lovely atmosphere

room was spacious with strong wifi very comfortable bed and the added bonus of a sofa in my room

secured wifi would have been nice - open networks don t really belong in 2019

property consists of 5 bedrooms (3 double and 2 twin) 2 shared bathrooms abd a small kitchen

it is shared accomidation with common kitchen with untensils left in the sink for a wash

clean and use of shared kitchen facilities

more kitchen utensils if i was being ultra critical (and i’m not ud83dude02)

decent sixed rooms and beds, very clean bathrooms which was lovely to see and a kitchenet which was a nice size and centre of the house which was nice

rethink the price of using the swimming pool if staying in the hotel

male in the leisure was very abrupt and really put us off being in the pool so we left after 30mins

was construction going on so weren t able to use the pool/spa facilities which was a shame, and when ordering room service after hours we received a pizza

bar was added bonus

was ideal for what we needed, we seen it had a spa etc so thought this would be even more ideal, although we didn t get the chance to use it

priced parking on site, late check out on the sunday, excellent breakfast to start the day

it was great to have the ability to get food on site as well as having a bar in the lobby

so the heating, isolations and windows were working perfectly, which was very much needed as the bar is next door, but they took all steps for the guests not to be bothered by that

that i wasn t staying longer and didn t have time for the gym sauna and swimming pool.

felt like the spa wasnt easy to find or book, couldn t find the pool either

the kids loved exploring all the corridors though

the stairs could have done with some hovering apart and the pool could have been slightly warmer but from that it was a lovely place

there is a pool and gym but we didn t have time to use these 6 for residents and 8 non residents

could do with a little more continental breakfast choice ie cheese, meats and croissants etc

however i found the staff in the spa treatment area were not as pleasant and the treatment was rushed & not at all relaxing

rooms were spot less & the outdoor heated spa was fab

pool and grounds well manicured & maintained

parking was good and i enjoyed having a night cap in the bar

bed mattress could do with being replaced - would have preferred 2x singles for kids - teenagers don’t really want to share beds

room, lovely hot tub, easy parking, walk to town and tissington trail, food was delicious, service was fast and friendly

breakfast was beautiful, the christmas decor and how warm the property was, so welcoming.

we woke in the morning we were able to finally see the what a wonderful location we were in, the breakfast room was fantastic with beautiful views over the countryside and the choice of breakfast

fortunately there is an alternative level route via the bar and function room, but you have to pull a long face to be offered it

enjoyed the food but we headed for breakfast a little later and some of the buffet breakfast bits had run out

the bar area at the back was a little dated and could do with a freshen up.

i didnt do the spa experience but it looked amazing

could see how some people wouldn’t like the boystrous nature of the golf club but for me that added to the experience and introduced me to a whole new
