only real complaint was that restaurant and bar was closed for refurb and this was not disclosed on the agoda website when i booked, but i

it has a bathtub and offers room service.

second the room service just took forever after ordered and paid

to meet a list of criteria, which includes staff at the hotel 24/7 and facilities for meals and room service, amongst a larger list of expectations

restrictions due to covid so perfectly understandable that bar and restaurant closed during our stay which was a shame

it was a very pleasant surprise to find an ev charger available for use by customers

great that they had the ev chargers as well

was very good excellent service nice lounge area and bar area and out door area disabled parking very close to hotel entrance a number of spaces provided a ground floor

fantastic for disabled guests, parking is close and ground floor rooms are great

how incredibly dog friendly the hotel was, how pleasant the staff were, ample car parking, quiet location

fantastic value as breakfast included in the room price - great spread of pastries, cereal, fresh fruit, juice,

gorgeous decor in bar & rooms,good quality cooking & food.

bar and waiting staff were polite and approachable

fortunately the bar was open and we enjoyed complementary drinks whilst waiting for a pizza delivery

with lots of 'bear' references in the paintings and the ornaments everywhere including the bar and eating areas

lovely renovation decor was superb all the staff were very attentive the bar was exceptional nothing was to much trouble for the barman he would mix you a drink even if it

we had drinks on both nights in the salt bar and were looked after by a super attentive friendly bar tender marino

cocktails in the salt bar were excellent with plenty of choice

breakfast was very good and smiley staff were excellent

too many dogs, too many kids, nothing else was disable friendly.

stuff makes it look more of a sports bar rather than a country retreat, the noise from kids running around being left to do what they want is quite something especially when the rooms

grounds, the outdoor pool, the comfort of the rooms and how well maintained it was

breakfast food wasn't the best both days, with the sausages not looking fully cooked and the next

tapas in the bar was lovely but we found the restaurant menu rather pretentious and so we chose to eat out

had a burger and drink delivered to the room which arrived fresh and hot, very good wifi and comfy bed, not much else needed for a basic stopover

it was a shame not to be able to use the pool at certain times with the kids but understand its nice to have adults only times

a last minute break between xmas and new year with the dog that included parking this was perfect

we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to the beautiful junior suite and a slightly early check in

it was a huge room, incredibly warm (despite the age of the age of the building) and the spa bath with tv was an excellent modern touch to an otherwise originally decorated period room

was advertised they had a bar downstairs but it was just a lounge think it was because it was out of season also self check

felt like an apartment with its own private staircase and luxurious spa bath within the lounge

we had last been there was no staff on reception , the reception & bar is now at the sister hotel

the parking at this hotel was expensive £20 a day, breakfast was expensive @£14

secondly, when we got the kids ready for the shower we see the shower glass door comes away, we called the person in charge

family’s with kids etc, shocking from the hotel

1 minute walk which was perfect as having kids and lots of bags

the pool was a big hit with the kids as was the games room

can t wait to come back and ensure we have enough time to use the spa facilities

food was to a high level for breakfast lunch bar snacks and dinner and a good selection on menu a credit to chefs each day
