we were greeted by a christmas lit building and parking close to the main entrsnce

the children loved the fish tanks and the swimming pool

we really enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and sauna i think it could do with some tlc

pool times for my teenager (nearly 14) were quite limited (-)the steam room was under renovation. so we didn't really use the spa as it was just a pool. (-)on use of pool due to covid (+) great spa facilities and pool too (-)spa needed to have more than just pool & steam room. (+) we enjoyed the use of the pool and my daughter went riding while we were there which was also great (-)the spa, fitness, pool - is not in the main building. (+) also a word about the spa which has a lovely pool (-) the gym and pool areas are nice, but not exceptional compared with other luxury hotels

only criticism was breakfast took a very long time to come

the gifts for the kids on arrival were a lovely touch as were the balloon, cakes etc for my birthday
