bar of chocolate too (nice touch) meal in bar area was delicious beautiful grounds to walk our dog (+) restaurant and bar with friendly staff and you are left to your own devices which suited us fine (-)room restaurant is high end prices but you don't have to eat there you can opt for the bar option (-)the bar area could be improved as could the availability of real ale (-)were stretched at times but that's understandable, waiting to get served at the bar was not great but we understood the situation (-)coffee in the bar was very ordinary and the decor a little past its best but neither spoilt our stay

pool was good for a splash but gym was very small and possibly over-sold!
