some works being carried out by builders however on further inspection it appeared to be the laundry service

as it was an excellent place to stay staff were very friendly and helpful we all so had parking facilities which

dated and soulless, the room we were in, which we payed over 80 a night for, was next to the laundry which we

weren't the best, we were next door to the laundry room so could hear it going all night, the card reader on

we enjoyed hot sandwiches via room service, which were more than generous,and served with huge chunky chips

told that room service was available, then being treated as though we had done something wrong by using this

our shopping was being kept in the laundry store and it was returned to us in tact

kids play house literally outside of the door so family

as a family of 4, 2 adults 2 kids, it was ample space with a double bed and two singles

restaurant bar next door supermarket across the road

tv had smart channels but they couldn't be used. getting into the wifi was a bit clunky

service was noisy, and laundry service delivery was loud at 7

wifi signal needed to be better in our accommodation

there should be no charge for wifi in this day & age

were no parking spaces at the spa during check in time at 2pm

was luke warm, nobody picked up the breakfast in bed request, bar food not nice, woken up by laundry truck

as well as period features in the old part of the lodge, the grounds are beautiful, and parking is free and

at the bar felt excessive (although we were there for a wedding so i can t say what the standard prices

size and cleanliness of the room, together with its proximity to the open golf at birkdale

we stayed with our pet dog, and was made to feel very welcome

thought that the room service charge was high considering the limited choices of food, could also do with a

rushed to get us an early check in so we could get out and enjoy our day, the beds were extremely comfy and like

they were especially brilliant with my 2 young kids and made them feel at home

the kids were planning the next trip before we'd even checked out

we like a cup of tea and my kids like a drink over night so we had to store milk & pop in the sink
