in the morning, the breakfast was very good, freshly cooked and a great choice

my only small complaint that the wifi could be better...

the staff were friendly, a logfire was keeping the bar cosy and the food was tasty

we particularly appreciated the dedicated parking space and complimentary drink on arrival

knaresborough for around 9 (around 15 minute drive) but if you want to drive there is plenty of parking

when we entered our room, it smelled strongly of dampness like old laundry that had been left wet for too

toilet facilities (both) out of order no toilets to use, when walking to room dirty laundry and empty bottles

one was a double room and also room was supposed to be cleaned but someones dirty laundry was left in one of

i did ask if i need to pay for the laundry, as i'm sure that is outsourced

really, however laundry carts and bags and dirty plates and glasses left in the corridor overnight is just a

fantastic cocktail bar offering lovely bar food also
