didn t like our room which had no view, was very hot and had the fumes /smells / sounds of kitchen extractor

i would like to have had the availability of a spa or treatment room and a gym.

there were no prices on any menus or even an actual bar menu so we had little idea of what things were costing

parking is on a very steep sideways slope and can be crowded but it is on a hillside and was a bank

we had breakfast via room service and it was the biggest choice i have seen, everything you could want

really memorable complementary soft drinks in minibar nice touch for kids

even the gym was exceptional with state of the art equipment, chilled water and towels

little details such as free ev charging and the complimentary mini bar

the dinner and breakfast were excellent and the atmosphere was perfect

as the hotel is very competitively priced i would willingly have paid a few pounds more and not have the feeling

we had no problems with the wifi or tv signals

watching the weather forecast gradually becoming more alarming, i looked over at my 2 sleeping kids and thought

bathroom in our executive room was tiny, we were right next to the laundry room so at 7am on sunday morning we

pool was a tad cold and the bath was way to small. no man can fit in that bath.

we had room service afternoon tea which was presented beautifully, we really enjoyed the pool area and the

relaxing, our room was massive we had a family room for two of us and looked out onto the estate/golf course

some housekeeping issues, few cobwebs, the odd stain on laundry, mini-bar fridge warm inside (but duly reported

it was rather nice to have a drink in the bar where sir walter raleigh, sir francis drake and the 1st queen

pool and spa were fantastic

also on a similar vein my room must have been close to the laundry room, because i put some of my things on

the room seemed to be above or close to the laundry and you could hear it most of the night

privacy was lacking as our window over looked the laundry room and court yard as it was on the ground floor

there was a charge on our room service bill for bar drinks (we didn't have any)

reception staff at check in were very good, as were the staff who dealt with the room service

able to swop our room as i forgot to ask for a bath size of room service v good

the staff did so much to make it a romantic occasion with red rose petals on the tables
