art deco hotel full of character, very comfortable, lots of car parking and very reasonably priced

in the bar at lunch time was a tad chaotic the staff were helpful but a little disorganised

stifling hot 30 degrees inside and 15 outside, presumably sat over a laundry or shop

general manager made me feel at home and helped with a laundry issue

the bar and restaurant areas were very clean and the room was adequate

we had a drink in the bar and the staff were attentive and polite

friday night had a promotion in the bar :-) breakfast was decent, good selection and

from adjacent railway station and laundry delivery at 7:00am

24 hr bar was great too and staff still great

didn't try the bar or restaurant as i was out in town with friends most of the time but they looked really

breakfast service was slow and had to go and ask for order to be taken.

twin room was a bit small for 2 adults would have paid for larger twin if it had been

home grown fruits and vegetables, lovely garden to sit out in on a balmy evening, safe off-road parking

floor annexe side door means you walk past the kitchens and laundry area - the smell and decor are not always

reception and the outside door to room 12 unfortunately closely passes the parking space for the laundry collection

the service was good, the bed was good, the shower was great, the breakfast was great, the hall was

really only that some small bar meals, sandwiches would be great instead of a formal evening meal, however, this

bar staff were great as were the wait staff at breakfast

got to be down to the member of staff that fitted them, surely that should have gone back to the laundry and a
