temperature of the swimming pool was cold & the shower water was boiling & we weren't able to adjust it

remember to book spa treatment early due to availability.

kitchen facilities basic

we were expected to cook on the aga which like all agas could not be switched off leaving the kitchen/sitting room and bedroom that had no separate door, uncomfortably warm

location, good facilities inc kitchen, fresh milk provided for a cup of tea/coffee, pub approx 10 minutes walk that serves

staff were incredibly friendly on arrival and arranged a early check in for us

good sized individual garden rooms with king size bed. good wifi lovely restaurant

the restaurant and bar were just a short walk away not in the main hotel, the food was of a high quality and decent

available in restaurant, large room, large bathroom with bath as well as shower and twin sinks, parking very close

beautiful location , easy to find with more than ample parking

facilities available including toys and activities for kids were a surprise bonus

very historic but modern cosy bar area friendly staff

bar staff seemed to be very rude when questions were asked

we arrived and upon check in we were upgraded rooms at no extra cost, i enquired about a late check out and we were also given this for no extra cost

a very comfortable hotel with a nice bar with friendly staff ideal for my needs right in the centre of

your breakfast staff were excellent along with your bar staff and if we come back to ilfracombe, we will definitely stay at the britannia again

friendly staff breakfast amazing and lots of choice

the bar area had a great pool table but it only took 50p’s

it got a bit too hot and the fans provided helped a bit, but were not enough especially for the kids room

park is difficult to access and family room layout was odd with bathroom being in the kids

family suite with the kids room also having its own tv and dvd player

food, nice & clean staff were pleasant great location for all amenities inc crazy golf, theater and short walk to harbor and town center tho the town is up a steep hill, be warned

the bar prices were not to expensive so that encouraged us to stay in hotel all evening and not go

the chap behind the bar was really funny

cleaners were really friendly as you walked by them. ideal for mini golf, amusements etc.

of the staff weren’t very approachable especially the bar man on saturday night who stood there throwing his hands up saying no as we approached the bar

just make sure if you want a drink at the hotel to take your own as bar service is very very scarce

there is a bar but does not open til gone 6pm, on the particular evening there was supposedly a singer on, me

hotel is well signposted if you follow the golf course symbols from the m5; the hotel is not mentioned on the signpost at the road turning
