very historic but modern cosy bar area friendly staff

we arrived and upon check in we were upgraded rooms at no extra cost, i enquired about a late check out and we were also given this for no extra cost

your breakfast staff were excellent along with your bar staff and if we come back to ilfracombe, we will definitely stay at the britannia again

bar staff seemed to be very rude when questions were asked

the location was convenient to the harbor, the beaches, the golf course & pubs &

relaxed atmosphere with great breakfast

stunning views from the room (large superior room) really enjoyed spa bath after long walk

food, nice & clean staff were pleasant great location for all amenities inc crazy golf, theater and short walk to harbor and town center tho the town is up a steep hill, be warned

hotel is nice very good staff, they were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, plenty of choice if you did not want the full english, would cater to your

breakfast and evening entertainment were good and the icing on the cake was the location, easy

hotel was in walking distance of the sea and breakfast was exellent plus the staff were very

a bit tired !! and sparsely furnished in the foyer/ bar area , not very welcoming.

cleaners were really friendly as you walked by them. ideal for mini golf, amusements etc.

just make sure if you want a drink at the hotel to take your own as bar service is very very scarce

of the staff weren’t very approachable especially the bar man on saturday night who stood there throwing his hands up saying no as we approached the bar

everything was exceptional except bar was only open on the weekend

we were trusted to attend to ourselves to the bar in the evening and settled in the morning

great family room, kids had own bunk room. really clean.

facilities available including toys and activities for kids were a surprise bonus

there was no mini bar price list or restaurant menu in the room for ordering room service although these were quickly rectified when we called reception

insufficient toilet paper and no way of phoning for room service

(-)parking is a challenge, although there is only 5 rooms there is in reality on 2 proper parking (+)had the apartment with terrace which had its own parking space (+) great to have free and secure car parking (+) free parking (+)beautiful building, clean, simple and quiet room. safe parking. (+)were looked after so well in this lovely period b&b - plenty of parking and great location just out of (+) parking was also good

throughout the apartment were modern features inc lighting, projector, superb wifi and mod cons in the kitchen

breakfast was delicious and the spa pool and jacuzzi were excellent
