my two requests (early check in and quiet room) were delivered (+)close to train station and town centre allowed an early check in check in staff freindly and available at all

we had tao rooms but was going to a festival so needed early check in

it was such a waste of money the bed was not comfy the bathrooms are the size of a laundry basket staff were rude as

there 4 x now still not got a late check out with a little talking allowed to check out 1pm instead of 12 noon

big free car park, gets congested close to the hotel but masses of space at the far end

we were there for a wedding at the golf course so it was close enough to get to without spending too much on accommodation

we ate in the noisy restaurant even though it was almost empty, seemed like all the kids & parents were shouting, it’s a place for children run by children

bar staff and locals were friendly, didn't try the food as i ate elsewhere but i would stay again

we had dinner in the bar in the evening and breakfast in morning, both were good
