this hotel is perfect for a short stay if you are not super fussy or on a budget - there is no bar /food at present so just understand that this is a work in progress

bar prices, well, hotel bar prices are always a bit over the top, i think

due to check in at 3pm, as my partner is pregnant they let us have an early check in of 12pm

very basic but the fruit salad was great and the kids loved the pancake stack

the staff were lovely and the bar was perfect for a cocktail at night

and an early check in as the room was ready made getting to the race registration very easy

though you can get this from the bar at a charge) or the tap in the bathroom

actually it was lovely hearing kids laughing and playing and babies chuckling

laundry man wanted to use the lift for himself forcing us to climb the stair 4 floors with my kids

windows are so dumb and duty l spend 6 days but only 2 days they re cleaning the room and my kids compting the days to go home about the

quirky and unique, the layout of the hotel is great especially for the kids to explore

the facilities in the mini kitchen and bathroom were great and very cute

during breakfast in the morning we were seated just opposite the kitchen - the windows and seats all seemed filthy

the staff were all amazing and it has a great cocktail bar as well

to there best room and the heating wasn t working was cold all evening and couldn t use the spa bath because it was to cold

the qr code for early check in didn t arrive but the my were kind enough to refund that fully

we had interconnecting rooms which worked brilliantly with the kids and gave us so much space

part of the charm is the history but entrance is very dark and could do with good gym

my room was very big and comfortable, the wifi worked well so i could have all my online meetings as planned
