no lift can be a bit of a pain for people with a lot luggage and young kids

wifi in room 27 was useless had to use my phone as a hotspot

rubbish wifi, rubbish tvs and

the staff were very welcoming, our room was spacious with a sumptuous king bed, free car parking onsite and the location of the property was close to the beach and local attractions

took family room and they provided en suite with additional small room inside with two beds for kids

the room is fine and facilities are all ok. there is parking at the hotel.

bathroom, although shower cubicle was on the small side, partner said she loved the spa bath

bar and cocktails were great, we could have spent ages in the retro games room and our son loved

breakfast was good ,plenty of choice, friendly helpful staff

we are a mature couple but if you have kids there is plenty here to keep them occupied, 2 swimming pools, outside play areas and a games

parking was a little tricky, spaces are quite close together.

bar being open would have been a bonus but we loved our stay and look forward to it being up and

off road parking

plenty of private parking available

a new owner who is doing it up gradually so all the amenities were not available: no lift and no bar

you couldn t call that a spa, the indoor pool area is way too small and boiling

in the room were too small and felt old; lots of kids in the pool - maybe restricted hours for kids and or adults

the wifi in our room was a bit week (room 3) but fine in other parts of the hotel (+)outdoor area with lavender sauna, friendly staff, great food, very relaxing, lovely views, good wifi connection which is a bonus on the island as good connection is patchy (-)would be nice to have a fridge in the room. wifi dropped out quickly. (-)the dining room at dinner was chilly. wifi didn't work in the room. (-)wifi at the hotel was not great and kept dropping out which was slightly annoying when trying to (-)wifi is unsecured (-) -no room service -tv was dated so bring a fire stick or chrome cast -wifi was (-) wifi is also annoying as you have to sign in every time you want to use it (-)wifi very poor

easy parking and convenient to the ferry

the breakfast was very good

was clean, comfortable and had everything we could have needed, staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was excellent

lovely breakfast both morning, and we had dinner in the bar friday night which was also really good

staff at the wheat sheaf are hardworking and very friendly, good breakfast.

have liked some form of key box so i didn t have to leave the keys on the bar in sight of passer-by s

with free parking on site, free wifi and a variety of teas and coffees in the room, we lacked for nothing

the manager was very friendly and helpful, the room was beautifully decorated and the food in the bar of a very high standard

parking would ve been a bit difficult on the saturday as there was a wedding on but luckily we

were quite good and it was such a lovely evening we just decided to go out and enjoy it, and the kids just went to bed a bit late

a few points, unfortunately the wifi doesn't reach the rooms which is a shame, it is a little bit tired in places but its a hotel

great location,large parking, easy access to bus stops. on busy junction but room very quiet

parking was a bit tight but i did arrive late in the evening the landlady was very helpful and i

it was what one would expect staying in a pub on occasions you could hear the people in the bar downstairs but its a nice place very friendly the food

had eggs benedict for breakfast was okay but was lacking something in tastes

only used the room and the bar but the hotel was everything we expected

ceilings and a four poster bed for the adults with a secure en-suite twin for the kids was perfect

most uncomfortable furniture in the bar area

l asked twice they moved me straight away, unfortunately the room l was moved to was next to the bar so l was kept awake but bless them they moved me again to a better room away from the bar noise

the entrance foyer does seem to fill up with weird people who seem to be using the free wifi, but not staying there

myself and friend were at the bar until 2am and we met 2 lovely staff one called steve and the other jack

the breakfast was excellent, plenty of it, and good choice of food, i can't praise them enough.

friendly staff, clean and welcoming and having a hungry horse restaurant and bar is an added bonus

order food to room via the app although u can oder at the bar and they deliver to your

was obviously a night where a kids sports club had checked in, and kids could be heard running up and down

the swimming pool and gym were clean and staffed, and the bar/restaurant was clean and efficient overall 10 out

excellent free wifi, good tv and coffee/tea making facilities

pool was a big bonus as the day we stayed, it rained all day long and this kept the kids happy

for the money but the location makes up for it, but the hotel has still not got an efficient wifi setup and even with a booster we had to request, wifi was very erratic

however parking was only a 5 minute walk and free

was no wifi in the room which ment i had no reception on my phone which ment i could relax as i had to

room was right in the attic and lovely even for 2 six footers , the bar and lounge had a great feel of christmas

also the bar is open late which is a nice touch

i could not get connected to wifi at all but for one night stay it was alright.

wifi in my room was completely unusable because of poor reception.

for the kids, like the cookie, robe and slippers, chocolate dip treat, drink carton and activity pack is

nice big bedroom ,clean , friendly staff, extra touches-kids pack and dressing gown

and friendly welcome at reception, good size room with a sitting areas as well, bar and restaurant is done to a very high standard, service was great and restaurant reasonably

happy about having to pay extra to use the pool and gym - just stopped me using it

were ignored for 5 mins at the bar when trying to check in

noisy neighbouring rooms with kids screaming at 7.30am on a sunday morning!
