to the train station for if you want to go into portsmouth and not worry about driving in and parking

am responding for a work colleague - a great stay, very comfortable, excellent parking

they have a bar and restaurant attached to the hotel and the food was amazing and not overly expensive

when we arrived we were told the wifi wasn't working but no apology for that

dislike really but it would be more convenient if guests could pay against their room bill at the bar rather than having to return upstairs to fetch a credit card

only gripe is the wifi

the wifi was poor in room 15 not enough plugs and sockets in convenient locations

wifi was ok but could be a bit stronger

hotel is in a great location, offers a great well being gymnasium, swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room

wifi was a bit weak at times and there was a bit of a wait at the bar at times also.

great parking,well equipped room,plenty of hot water and super breakfast.

kids loved the pool and the hotel is in a good location.

breakfast was good. family room was great - good size and a double and 2 singles.

the hungrey horse on the saturday night was full of kids running riot although food was good

adults and two children, staff were extremely helpful especially as we arrived with two sleeping kids at 10:00 in the evening

i booked a club room, it was nice and spacious, as well as clean - the bed was very comfortable

parking, superb state of the art gym, great pool, excellent shower room, comfortable bed, wifi, good selection of tv channels, starbucks on site

very helpful, especially with requests for early check in and late check out

the bar area was great, they had all manner of sports on

both my kids enjoyed it too which dosent happen too

pool was a big bonus as the day we stayed, it rained all day long and this kept the kids happy

the restaurant was really accommodating for the kids and brought a lovely cake oyt for my husband birthday

smart looking room, easy parking, close to amenities, quiet, plenty of lifts, gym, enormous windows with lovely view

cooked breakfast was great, though fruit, yogurt and cereals would also have been nice, if they had been

had eggs benedict for breakfast was okay but was lacking something in tastes

machine straight up doesn't work, you have to collect your laundry from reception rather than have it delivered to your room

however i am sure that hotel deliveries

the hotel had a great feel, bar area open till 2am and lots of options at breakfast.

only used the room and the bar but the hotel was everything we expected

a very large bed for myself and my husband and a separate sleeping area with twin beds for the kids

was great, i took my dog and had no issues going into the bar etc with her, little extras for my dog was included (bowl / dog food/toy/poo bags)

building, lovely relaxing bar and other spacious well furnished and beautifully decorated public areas

ceilings and a four poster bed for the adults with a secure en-suite twin for the kids was perfect

in speaking to gym members it does seem like this happens

the room service was a bit slow, i had to ring them twice, but nothing major.

room (which had a bathroom adjusted for disabled people) backed on to the beer garden with kids play ground and is in use till 11pm, which doesn't help when you want to get to bed at 10pm

the room was excellent in every way, good food and excellent bar and waiting staff.

the gym and the swimming pool after a hard days work was really appreciated

plenty of parking despite a wedding going on while we were there

the hotel seemed quite full when we stayed so the pool and breakfast room were also a little busy but that was well within expectations

noisy neighbouring rooms with kids screaming at 7.30am on a sunday morning!

brand new place, shame that they hadn't paid more attention to soundproofing, kids running down the corridors at 8am & sounding like they are in your room disappointing no
