never anyone at reception breakfast over priced when beefeater up the road offers free to kids - we didnt choose breakfast for this reason

the gym was cramped - too much equipment in there for the size of the room

wifi or access to the internet for some reason and staff were unable to resolve the situation

did not dislike anything. parking spaces filled up quickly but the concierge sorted this.

only fault was having to register email address for the wifi, with the expected but unwelcome spam emails received

as strangers we had no idea where to find car parking ( away from roads) with walking into forest (+) parking is really close to hotel (+)beautiful location. 2 swimming pools loads of parking superb room helpful, polite staff (+)the grounds, the staff, the restaurant and parking. all excellent (+) it was a treat to have so much parking available and to be able to use the facilities within the hotel, enjoy the garden etc (+)location, very friendly and attentive staff, parking available, shortbread and bottled water in the room (+)grounds, free parking, we didn t use the swimming pool or tennis courts but would have if we had stayed longer (+)small hotel offering a personal service with helpful staff and easy parking. (+) there's free parking (+) extensive grounds were a bonus and parking was always easy

much to dislike, dinner was a little late and slow for our kids but we opted for casual dining the next night which was delicious and speedy

the kids still talk about it now, staff are great, especially ethan from the bar

room for our 20th wedding anniversary and loved in particular the beautiful big bathroom, luxury spa bath and massive four poster bed

as there were 3 families with home clothes inside the pool with their kids making noise, and non of them were in swim suit

stay, especially drinking a glass or two of wine out on the sun trap of a patio, by the swimming pool

pool is closed until the start of july, and the bar is closed in the evenings (though i imagine not many people use the

staff were friendly and extremely helpful. the breakfast was excellent.
