accommodation was very comfortable and fantastic views over the golf course

the start of the kids entertainment was too late. my kids are 3 and 6 and are fast asleep by 9

breakfast was really good and the bar was open in the evening which was good after dining in town

breakfast was good, extra cost for freshly prepared hot offerings but we found the continental

at 6pm and could not wait any longer we made the bed ourselves, sourced our own towels from the laundry cupboard and use our own toiletries

bed, warm room and the hubster really appreciated being served room service by two very pretty young ladies

equipped, and the hotel was in a really good location for local attractions - perfect with small kids who don't tolerate long car journeys

the thunderstorm knocked out the wifi and television, so there was no soaps for my wife, but we still enjoyed

we didn t have tv/internet issues and we have kids

no tv or wifi during our stay

coffee was bitter. but my biggest issue was the poor wifi. the bar was very expensive.

the adjoining restaurant and bar was fantastic

the lighting was on point in the room and the design of the hotel and bar was refined and elegant

there was one member of staff dealing with hotel guests, bar & restaurant (except for i assume the chef)

friends told us the bar & restaurant were good

it’s family owned and run and the owner was frequently available in the bar most evenings and a great source of local knowledge

maybe just some basic condiments for the kitchen could be provided there.

by reception staff, and the owner who immediately engaged in conversation when i entered the bar on the evening for my meal

was left on over night, i think it was the extractor fan for the kitchen, which our family room was above

friendly bar staff and smallish indoor bar but outside tables, some undercover

wifi access was intermittent.
