a quality resort with wonderful comfortable rooms, splendid food, welcoming staff and a gorgeous spa, all at

the spa closes at 9pm and that our luxury double room wasn t much different to a standard double

check in is always straight forwards and breakfast and dinner is always a pleasure and excellent

the breakfast was really tasty too

only gave hot water for a short time & spa bath wasn't working but the owner paul apologised & said he was

a cosy, character property. secure parking for cars. paul the owner was lovely

the rooms need updating, a hole in the wall and the pool/spa area was closed

i really enjoyed the swimming and spa pools and also the sauna

entering the spa for the pool we were told that there was only one other person there

didn t have enough time to use the spa facilities as needed to leave early

the spa (jacuzzi) was out of order, due to chemical imbalance

however if you are looking for a hotel with 24 hour service, swimming pool and spa this is not for you otherwise

we usually stay at the bath spa hotel but we weren't using all the facilities so we felt it wasn't good value

helpful staff, lovely period decor, excellent breakfast, conveniently situated.

location is excellent. very extensive cooked breakfast menu with quality ingredients.
