was clean and comfortable, bar was warm and cosy on cold evening, good selection of drinks

a substantial and tasty breakfast and a really lovely old building

were upgraded to a larger room and granted an early check in when requested, both at no additional cost

wifi no good in my room.

check-in was a little clumsy as there is no dedicated check-in desk - we had to check in at the bar and we had to wait our turn to be 'served'
