floors are old and creak, rooms are darker (except the kitchen) and bathtub is better suited for baths (though it is possible to shower)

the old elevator, the claw foot tub, the fact you get a whole little apartment with a full kitchen containing almost anything you require

bedroom with extra living room and kitchen is just perfect for a family stay

i had a three rooms suite completely furnished with a complete kitchen

free coffee in the kitchen with the cofee pot

also had in room laundry facilities

of room in suites, kids loved it, it was like a full size one bedroom apartment with all the amenities

i was so happy our suite had laundry- very helpful with a 5 month old

they were really patient and friendly with my kids at check in

spacious with kids,good location, laundry.

other negatives included dogs barking in the hotel (pets allowed), the pool was cold, often had debris in it and turned my hair green

i liked the gym equipment. the front desk staff.. especially jake were courteous and kind.

location was walking distance to metrotown, the breakfast was very yummy with lots of choices, anywhere from scrambled eggs to waffles and fruit

only complaint was that the pool ended up being closed and that was the main reason i chose that particular hotel

toilet wasn’t working, towels had stains and strands of hair on them, no tea towel in kitchen, lighting in lounge wasn’t great, no aircon

have had air conditioning and kitchen cupboards and counters could have been repainted; pipe wrench was used for tap on kitchen

the room was old fashion and has small kitchen area.

thing - there was long dark hair all over one of the towels - like it had been in the laundry but then not checked

our laundry service took 24hrs to be ready.

there is no laundry and microwave.

kids enjoyed the scooters available to them as well

area has quite a lot of homeless people around, and this makes walking in the street with little kids an unpleasant experience

babysitting facilities (one of the reasons why we chose the hotel as we were travelling with kids) and a free taxi transfer from the airport (+) my kids (7years and 5 years old) loved the pool and hot tub (+) had a mini bar but also an extra fridge to store personal things which was great with kids (+) and also my kids enjoyed the pool (+)the decor and atmosphere felt luxurious annd also relaxed and very kind to families and kids. (-) the kids still loved it but it lets the hotel down (-) they didn't offer any extra information about amenities or things to do with young kids (-)was closed and we were not notified of this at the time of booking this was one of our musts with kids we would have booked somewhere else if we knew (-) we had booked our stay there specifically for the kids to use the pool, pool was closed during most of our stay
