wouldn't book that room again as the daily laundry delivery was so noisy outside window it woke us

no guest laundry facilities, a takeaway service was available, but not on weekends.

a corby grouse press and ironing board in the room; a good size and wonderfully comfy bed and the pool (14m)

unfortunately we did not have time to the use the spa facilities however they looked amazing

everything else was great...pool gym excellent room great spotless

we thought bar might have been open when we arrived back before 10pm - unfortunately not.

staff both in the bar and the hotel were really friendly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them

also - lots of laundry bags in the area on the approach to the bar- the area looked messy

kids could easily fall out

hot water, a comfortable walk to town, was able to do laundry there, the housekeeper was very sweet

for our requirements for a weekend out on the motorbikes, plenty of parking for them and relatively secure, the

room clean. good wifi. good shower

stains but later told rust marks from laundry provider on bed sheets

last was with my wife and this time a golf trip with the boys

30 to 9, asked if we would be able to get anything to eat, restaurant or room service, we were told no, nothing

was in a quiet setting, surrounded by lawns and gardens, with excellent parking and level access from the side

plenty of safe parking

the blanket stainless steel dishes and biscuits provided for our pet were greatly appreciated

the down side of the location is the awful wifi connection

friars carse to meet up with my daughter for a short reunion and relaxation, and as the hotel is pet friendly,

from decor and finishing touches in the cottage, to breakfast at the hotel, it all felt beautifully wholesome

we didn't know prior that it's a pet friendly hotel, and the two dogs in the next room howled and barked when

bags of laundry on the landing and in the corridors on arrival and in the morning

the only problem is the my room i had alot noise from the laundry room aprt from that alls well

the wifi was out of action but this was not the fault of the hotel, but of their service provider

to breakfast unfortunately not so good it was cold and and chewy our room i think was above the laundry room it

thought the parking would be difficult but in the end it worked out well but i suspect that in summer months it

the restaurant / bar for evening meals had a good selection, good quality and reasonably priced

no black pudding at breakfast. apart from that good stay.

they do offer laundry, but the machines just down the road at the petrol station are very convenient, and

food was delicious and the bar had a superb selection of beers and spirits

food superb staff very attentive and attentive decor in dining room, bar and lounge

polite, sociable staff clean, comfy room secure motorcycle storage amazing food decent bar excellent location

dave was happy to park the bikes for us, dave & polly helped with the trailer & the next day

need to leave too early to enjoy breakfast, but the hotelier provided us with a 'take-away' breakfast due to

car parking was limited but adequate.

above staff t break area some of the language was bad then all the pick ups and drop offs for laundry and rubbish

everyone was friendly and welcoming and it was a real pet friendly hotel

the swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna area absolutely wonderful, along with gym equipment, such good facilities

place is pet friendly which is a must when intend to travel with my

pool/spa/gym is fantastic and it s all so clean
