staff - very helpful and welcoming no laundry facilities but a drying room so all good for clean kit spent both

dinner from the terrace menu in the whiskey bar (so we could eat with our dog with us) was delicious and good

we ate at the pub in the village in the evening, which via a door out of the bar was a 2 min walk and food

one warning though don t go near the spa you will slide out feeling as supple as an octopus and as chilled

the food, bedrooms and spa were all of the highest standard

to clean the beds ourselves and our complaint was brushed off the next day as a bad job by the laundry company

anything from the mini bar was charged at the same rate as the bar

eg; no cafetiere, not particularly well equipped kitchen, some questionable artwork

a toaster in the kitchen of the cottage we stayed in.

my room was on first floor and above delivery entrance so i was disturbed by catering and laundry trucks

and the noise from laundry delivery which occurred every day

my room service meal - fish and chips was very poor

t like being right next to the kitchen air outlet, very noisy, although it turned off at night, it turned on

kids absolutely loved the swimming pool
