there is a bit of a problem with parking in the little village on a sunny summer evening

only a minor really, no phone signal but wifi was free so not a real problem

upgraded us as room we had booked was over bar area which was hosting a darts match and would be noisy - very

wifi worked well in bedroom but not (for me anyway) in the bar/restaurant

the chance to have laundry washed and a packed lunch made for a long walk the following day (pennine way) were

the inn has a warm room which was very useful for drying our boots and socks, and offers a laundry service at

room, good facilities including drying room/laundry service, close to hadrian s wall path, good food

village is lovely, peaceful, so a bit remote, so i found phone signal, wifi and tv signal hit and miss

regarding the dinner and breakfast we had, wow, both were absolutely 10 out of 10
