i am not a huse breakfast person but there was a huge choice so therre was something for everyone

a very friendly hotel rooms clean and spacious restaurant and bar had a lovely feel good factor and made for a

key when prepping, talking loudly when next to the breakfast room and carrying buckets of water; laundry bags;

the wifi didn't work in the room only downstairs

they were so good with the kids

on site parking is a bonus

reasonable bar prices for a hotel and absolutely great staff

there is a laundry which is useful for top up washes part way through your stay

beds very comfortable and good laundry type facilities, ie iron ironing board etc

we were able to do our laundry too which was a bonus

to clean the beds ourselves and our complaint was brushed off the next day as a bad job by the laundry company

(appreciate room service isn't the norm in a very small hotels but served dinner in my room as needed to work

all the staff from the evening bar staff, breakfast staff, chef, and housekeeping made us feel very welcome

also making customers aware of laundry poster - great idea and helping towards saving our planet

room was bigger than expected because pet owners get given disabled rooms with large wet ensuite wet room

parking was at the back of the hotel and nicely secluded from view

when i went to sit in the bar area

priced; the landlady was extremely affable and juggled the roles of front of house, behind the bar and food

superb location and easy parking. very good cooked breakfast. very homely location.

parking - not the properties fault but it was awful to get parked without driving around for a

parking in square, space available but might be difficult to park in busy times.

the hotel bar and restaurant area were both excellent

room being above the kitchen and the extractor system starting at 06:30 was a noisy wake up call

loved the hotel but need to manage noise from the bar with bedroom in the main part of the house

with another noise and things vibrating on the bathroom shelf which was apparently caused by the laundry machines

stated 'pet friendly' there were absolutely no facilities for my little dog

in the shower was disappointing but all i could fault with the room plus rather noisy with the laundry cupboards

the laundry room is on the stairs so we could hear everything

early hours with the cages of laundry for the cleaners so my sleep was interrupted

kettle had been burnt out i called room service they replaced it with brand new kettle 5 mins later great

wifi was a bit slow but that have been because we were in the annex

spacious room overlooked the area where laundry dries in the backyard

staff - very helpful and welcoming no laundry facilities but a drying room so all good for clean kit spent both

meals in the evening could be a bar meal which was substantial or a three course meal in the restaurant

all the meals from breakfast to dinner and bar menu were also excellent

be useful such as how to work the microwave and tv controls, more about the cost and use of the laundry facilities

close to where i needed to be laundry facilities for small fee which was

they took a lot of care with my laundry

we also had use of the shared kitchen and could fill our empty water bottles up without buying bottles of water

staff were considerate and helpful, especially janet.grear to have kitchenette.
