the staff was nice and let us have a late check out

we spent the day in town and the night cooking and relaxing at the pool

large room, fireplace, kitchen, shuttlebus, mountain view, pool, gym were all good

and outdoor areas were such a hit with the kids and adults, we ate out there most evenings

kids liked the pool area and game room

they were incredible with helping me find another night and with late check out

guest laundry was good. location was excellent. no air conditioning. clean but dated.

just make sure you go to the right hotel as the lodge vail and lodge tower share the same parking lot

the spa treatments were horribly overpriced - $230 for an 80 minute massage is extortionate

neighboring hotel was extremely rude and was honking and yelling at us when we first entered the parking lot trying to figure out parking instead of helping us

i was in vail for surgery, and they accommodated early check-in and a late check out

only prob was room service was arbitrarily cancelled for 1 morning due to lack of staff and one of the in house
