we were on the fourth floor, facing out towards the pool, and we quite literally never heard a sound, even during the day, when the pool was being used

limited range of food on offer in the hotel's restaurant but there was an excellent bar only a few metres away

advertise with gym. there is a threat-mill and a few dumbbells. not a proper gym. disappointed

is just across from the chamartín train station which was an easy walk over with luggage and kids (if you have a lot of baggage you’ll walk a bit further to take the escalators
