the on-site traditional style bar was a bonus since i could enjoy the local brew and didn’t have to venture beyond the hotel

the rooms are above a busy and friendly bar where i spent part of the evening partaking of a very nice beer and chatting to the staff

the hotel and bar owners and their family were so friendly i felt welcome straight away

they let me have a late check out as i was running the 10k race in the morning

loved the family room offset twin room for the kids was ideal and views were beautiful

we asked for a late check out a few hours before we were due to check out and they offered us an extra hour for

the roads for cycling in forest of bowland are excellent and the hotel allowed us a very late check out the last day which allowed us to have an extra days riding and return for swim,

excellent hotel with wonderful staff, will definitely return , fabulous pool & spa.
