was a last minute booking as our ferry docked so late at night we could not drive home

the on-site traditional style bar was a bonus since i could enjoy the local brew and didn’t have to venture beyond the hotel

the rooms are above a busy and friendly bar where i spent part of the evening partaking of a very nice beer and chatting to the staff

likeing that you check in at the bar with all the locals looking at you

with how social distancing was maintained and staff were constantly sanitising door handles bar area etc felt safe would highly reccomend and hope to visit again in the

early check in and late check out was fantastic

hotel just outside the centre, rooms are over the bar and restaurant areas

breakfast was hearty, beautifully cooked and presented; the menu was imaginative

the beer garden out the back had a brilliant kids play area also

could not do enough for us and were really nice with our kids

they let me have a late check out as i was running the 10k race in the morning

it was clean ,the food at breakfast was great, and the views from the hotel were superb

buffet style english breakfast with continental options too

we received a very friendly welcome when we arrived and as our room was ready we got an early check in

they kindly helped me with early checked in and late check out

easy access - arrived late, but was able to self check in and self check out

had everything we needed. nice early check in.

location was excellent,we arrived at the the hotel about 12pm, there was no early check in available due to staff shortages,which we didn’t mind,so we just left our luggage

clean rooms, comfortable beds and early check in for £10 (depending on availability)

got early check in staff were fantastic location is perfect right in middle of town

we asked for a late check out a few hours before we were due to check out and they offered us an extra hour for

the roads for cycling in forest of bowland are excellent and the hotel allowed us a very late check out the last day which allowed us to have an extra days riding and return for swim,

room service food order was forgotten waited one hour 15 mins in total

room service - breakfast was a let down no iron bathroom - dated /traditional style - this is down

although the food and room service was exceptional; would definitely recommend it

room upgraded which was a fabulous surprise, and a late check out that we had requested and was all organised for us, which made for a very

stylish old victorian building with great views over the sea and golf course

the bar meal was fantastic

liked the peace and tranquillity of the surrounding woodlands and view over the golf course towards the sea, also the magnificent peacock named earnie that lives within the

allowing us to have a late check out

parking may have been an issue when hotel full

evening meal in the bar was spot on, we had kids and were pleased with the options and the quick service

booked on the 22nd of february surely then could see it was me and my partner did not appreciate kids running up and down corridors and noise in general could not

we were in a separate house so we had parking to the door

comfy. nice room but shower not great centre of town late check out

room was clean and did notice new furniture breakfast was self service so did not go hungry late check out on sunday so no need to rush so lazy sunday

was easily accessible, it was a quick service due to the online checking in service and the parking was only 3 compared to other places and that was for the full night
